when you relapse do go all the way,get it out of your system other wise it will be on your mind or do stop get of the computer and deal with the urge

If you mean binge it out, no, don't. If you relapse, only do it once, deal with the chaser effect and proceed. Otherwise if you binge, you're pretty much at square 1 again, so you need to start over. Deal with the urges! Use that energy for other things like jogging etc.

That is not you thinking that. It is your brain making that decision for you because it craves for more. It's normal you think this may be the best choice, drain the tube right? Then there's nothing there no more and we can start over. I will include a post from Gary Wilson from YourBrainOnPorn.com, the grand master who has collected and studied all the research behind Porn and its effects. He addressed this issue by linking to a post from Reddit's No Fap forum:

  5. billy,

I recently started a thread about relapse Titled:did you recently relapse? This may be a method to help!
Please read my last post it might be helpful. Or it might be helpful to read what other people have written.
Apparently people respond differently to addictions. Some seem to find it helpful to stop cold turkey and others find coping skills more effective. With all addictions stoping cold turkey often does not work for many reasons, however if you just cannot stop it can be helpful to try stopping altogether.

In any case I have found that I can stop for long periods of time but inevitably I relapse and that is fine as long as I accept that and develop my own skills for the inevitable relapse so that it does not turn into a binge or the relapse does not last a long time.

I have found that after relapsing if I look again at porn for a very short period of time after total relapse one time than my cravings lessen and I can deal with whatever it is that I need to deal with that caused me to relapse or the addiction itself. Others find FAP ing without porn helps. I find that many things help it is just a mater of understanding what works for me. There is no magic bullet when it comes to this stuff.

I invite you and anyone else to post anything that helps on the thread that I started.
