What Should I Expect With 10mg Cialis?

    Hey everyone!

So, I'm kind of at a make it or break it point in this relationship. I didn't want to turn to ED drugs, but you have to do what you have to do sometimes.

Anyways, I got a 15 day trial pack of 5mg one-a-days from my Doc. I have a feeling I'll be using it tonight, or at the very least this week. I've been taking 2.5 a day, so with it's half-life I'd have about 12.5mg in my system at the time. I wanted to know what to expect from 10mg Cialis? I know it doesn't work if you're not aroused, but taking it has seemed to somewhat bump up my libido more than normal. I've been getting consistent morning wood the past couple days.

What I am wanting to know is how much exactly will it take me to get aroused? I mean if I feel the desire, will the 10mg help that along into turning it into a solid erection? Never used the stuff before sex. Curious what I should expect. Any input would be helpful.

    Thanks!

You will get solid erections and you were get more frequent erections while it's in your system. My libido seems to spike up more when I've taken cialis even though people say it doens't help, I guess I'm psychologically my confident and wanting sex knowing I can achieve erection any time.

But why are you taking it? Havn't you done reboot yet?

Taking it to help me along. I am usually able to get erections from foreplay, but they aren't so solid. I want her to stop being so frustrated, I want to save what we have. She's been working with me for a couple months, but the tension is mounting. She's the kind of girl who thinks I should pop a woody from a little kiss, and even before PMO I wasn't really able to do that anyway lol. I need to be touched, and I need that sexy foreplay.

Like for instance, I know if she went down on my I would get super hard. Like retarded hard, even without Cialis. Now if I take the Cialis, will it help me keep it up during sex once I am already erect? Will it make it easier to get erections through gentle foreplay? The desire is there, but sometimes my soldier wants to chill at half mast -__-'

It should make it easier to maintain an erection all the way through and make it easier to achieve one through tough or the idea of sex.

Hopefully haha. Cause I know it helps guys who can't get erections period, which confuses me. How does that even work?

Taking 5mg a day did nothing for me.

Taking 10mg helped me hard for about 16 hours.

Taking 20mg gave me like over 2 days worth.

Cialis will work if your slightly aroused, it mainly works from stimulation though. I can literally feel my dick sucking blood into it after maybe 15-20 seconds of gentle stroking.

For me the daily tablet wasn't good enough because it doesn't keep enough cialis in your system, it becomes like Viagra and only good for the first couple hours.

Seems more logical to pop 1 or 2 cialis 20mg a week if you live with your girlfriend. Or if you stay the weekend with her just pop one 20mg pill.

This will not work in the long run though you either need more Cialis (expensive to get locally) or more time to get normal erections again.

I have about 40 cialis 20mg pills stocked up lol. Only cost me like 70$ were as 4 pills here costs 80$

What was weird though is i found the generic cialis "tadarise" to work better then the brand name.

Well these answers are certainly comforting lol. I mainly wanted to hear from you Game, since I know you have had some experience with it. How long before should I take it? We've been on some hard times, so when I see her next I'll probably have her over, have 2-3 beers, then take it from there. I've heard alcohol, as long as it's moderate, doesn't really effect Cialis. That true?

I'm also still wondering by which process it works in the body and/or mind. Like I was asking, how does a guy who can't even get an erection suddenly become able to get rock hard from a pill? I don't understand it o_O

Cialis works great for me. I pop a 10mg pill if I see any possibility of sex and I get good erections at the slightest arousal for the next 2 days from when I pop the pill. I tried 5 mg but the erections weren’t as solid but better than no cialis. I haven’t tried 20mg as im afraid my dick will turn into a stone. For now im happy with a 10mg that stays me hard enuff for the entire sexual act but not solid rock hard like I have seen on some guys.
Again as you are already aware u wont get aroused by cialis. Sometimes with me when I took a 10mg cialis I did not feel aroused for a couple of days and I thot it wasn’t working for me but then I realized that I was busy with work and stressed and all around that time and so my mind wasn’t on sex. But there were times when I took a cialis and in an hour or so I got the thought of sex and I started getting a stiff one down there which never happens without cialis.
You just have to do some trial and error as it works differently in different situations and with different guys.

I use a product called stree overlord. It's one of those gimmicky gas station libido pills you can buy. Actually works pretty, apparently the fda said it has the same ingredients in it as viagra- go figure. But using this stuff poses an interesting question- is it detrimental to the reboot? I'm under the impression that as long as you don't orgasm while using it, it shouldn't affect the reboot. Thoughts on this anyone?

I have had 12-14 drinks and still gotten hard and stayed hard on 20mg Cialis i took 16 hours previous.

It allows more blood into the penis and stops blood leaving. It works through stimulation. It wont work that well if you cant get some sort of erection through stimulation.

I've taken Cialis many times over the past 5 yrs. For guys that have physiological issues getting erections it works by increasing how much nitric oxide is available in your body, thereby ensuring that as much blood as is normal will flow to your erectile tissue upon stimulation.

My advice would be to take it no less than 40 min before you think you might start to mess around. This will ensure it's in your system regardless of what you've had to eat or drink (although it will work faster the less you've had to eat beforehand). Also, because you may be thinking about it and subsequently a little nervous/anxious I would recommend having your girl start by performing orally on you right before sex. This will help you relax and will send all the signals your body needs to let it know that it's time to get the party started.

Also, don't worry about not feeling super horny upon taking it. I've taken it, felt no noticeable difference during the day but then hours later was ready to go once alone with my woman.

    Good luck.

Right a couple of reminders here, the ED pills work if there is sufficient arousal; it works by slowing down the rate at which a chemical produced for erections (cGMP) decomposes. It does that by acting on the enzyme that does the decomposition. It does not produce cGMP itself which is why it does not work with people who cannot get aroused to start with.

It's like pouring petrol over wood hoping it would start a big flame, but without any fire to start with, no matter how much petrol you pour nothing will happen.

I have tried Viagra before and it worked perfectly but gave me a headache. This time I'm taking Cialis.

Viagra works faster than Cialis which takes 1-2 hours to get to their maximum levels but Cialis lasts much longer, an effective time of 36-72 hours compared to Viagra 4-8 hours. This does not mean your erections will last longer with Cialis but that during the effective time period you should be able to get and maintain erections more easily, hence why Cialis is known as the weekend pill. Studies show that Cialis has fewer side effects than Viagra but still side effects are present! Also Cialis is not affected by food or alcohol intake. But it also costs more.

Other reasons why there is much hype about Cialis is that it can be administered daily in a low dose (5mg) for therapeutic effect which has been shown to be successful where the usual type of administration (just before sex) fails.

Also bear in mind that because Cialis is the latest ED pill on the market it is less researched than Viagra. But anyway the long run objective is to eventually slowly phase out of them remember, we don't want to be ED pill addicts now do we ?

To my surpise, 10 mg did nothing for me, so I took an additional 10. Finally, more than 2 hours after the first 10 mg., it kicked in, promoting a firm, hard erection. Side-effects were very minimal, though there was a hint of a headache along with the sense of a flushed face. As for the claimed 2-day duration, I noticed no more lasting effect than what Viagra provided.

Cialis really takes about 2 hours to become fully effective. I now they say as fast as 30 minutes, but it really doesn't work that fast.
I try to take it 4-6 hours before sex. The longer ahead you take it, the better it works based on my experience.
One of the most effective ways to take it base on my experience is to take 10mg one day. The then take 5mg each subsequent day to maintain the effects.
You don't have to take the 10mg the first day, but what sometimes happens is that I'll take 10mg 6 hours before I think I might have sex (example 3PM for a 9PM date) then if I don't have sex, I just take 5mg each subsequent day until I do. Then I stop taking it if I don't think I'll have sex for at least several days.
That being said, I've been taking it less and less. I took it a lot more early on in the process but it appears I don't really need it anymore. Sometimes I still do if I think I'm kind of tired, feel my libido is really low (and need all the help I can get,) or I might be really drunk :)

In theory, 20mg shouldn't necessarily work more effectively than 10mg, it should just last longer. That being said your milage may vary.
