    Relapsed today, I couldn't hold it any longer... So I masturbated without any porn and it wasn't necessary. I wasn't rockhard but still, had one of the best orgasms in years.
    So how does any calculate now?

    In my opinion, nothing has changed. Especially since you didn't use porn.

    Even if you had used porn, I would say nothing seriously changed.

    I would not reset your counter.

    Look at it this way: if you were obese, you have stayed on a very, very strict diet for almost two months, lost 60 pounds, and then you went and ate a chocolate bar. Did you fail? Did you lose all you have gained? No, you slipped a little. Don't be too hard on yourself.

    Just dust yourself off and go on man, you're doing fine!

    Let me put it this way: people use the word "relapse" in the wrong way, in my opinion.

    A relapse would be deciding to give up your reboot and going back to a ful-blown life of PMO. That's a relapse.

    What happened here was a slip, a stumble. The reboot continues. The reboot is at Day 58.

    In my opinion. :)

    Thanks for the kind words guys! I was kind of sad I slipped, but after all we're still human. No porn cravings / urges which is a good thing.

    MetaMorph has a good point. Alcoholics usually binge for weeks or even years when they relapse. One drink really does set them all the way back.

    But a one-time slip when quitting PMO is really not like that. Especially if it doesn't involve porn.

    We can't beat ourselves up about needing to orgasm. That's never going to go away.

    So long as you haven't picked up the PMO habit again, I don't think a slip should reset the counter.

    Put this one down as an "assisted wet dream."

    And note the trigger! What was the trigger? What is the new plan to mitigate that trigger?

    I don't think you should beat yourself up, but you should remind yourself of the trigger. That's worth dwelling on.

    Keep at it waffel, don't run away and allow yourself to keep binging. Post on here regardless of what you've been doing with PMO, it's the best way to confront yourself honestly.

    You got to Day 61, which is a fantastic achievement. Your next goal is to beat that!

    Hey waffel I'm a little over a month into my reboot. My reboot almost follows the same timeline as yours. Got some flatline questions that I had cleared by reading your journal, but rather disappointed that it was flatline/horny on and off for a while. I hope mine doesn't go like that. But anyways you did an awesome job getting to day 61. Purge all the PMO thoughts and get on the wagon again. It really is the only way to salvation - atleast that is how it feels to me.
