A week has gone by. I was able to observe my time, how am spending it. Without the fog, the mind is much clearer now. Life is fresh again. I am looking to spend less time on youtube (other than using it for useful purposes) and the OTT platforms from today on. I will try to stop everything but am hoping at least to spend less time first and then go cold turkey once am good.
I would recommend the Distraction Free Youtube extension. It's for firefox, but I guess it has its cousins on other browsers, and you can pick and choose which ...features of yt you don't want. Great way of cutting that addictive beast to size. Just supressing autoplay and recommended changes the experience quite a lot.
