    When you reboot, your PC muscles will get back to normal because you don't "train" them anymore.
    Like every other muscle, your body will also reduce muscle mass in the PC area.

    This is true, but it can take forever for them to heal on their own, especially if you have automatic kegels and if you kegel every day for a few times when you piss. By doing massages and reverse kegels while you reboot speeds up the recovery of muscles dramatically.

    Good article Marco.

    Have anyone here succeeded in isolating front vs. back kegels, and if so, any tips on doing that? I can usually just do the whole area at once, but it seems like front/back balance can also be an issue.

    Bazooka Joe, that's not how muscle tension works. If tension is bad enough, it will remain even after the underlying cause is gone.

    You only get a tension that bad if you lift additional weight.

    I've never heard of such a tension that resulted from "stamina training" (e.g. repetition).

    Here's my report:

    I've been doing reverse kegels and massages/stretching for a few days and I relapsed 3 days in a row to some pics. BUT!!! My erection now eithout kegels is better than before. And the best part is, head is always full and hard (as hard as head can be). Before this was possible only with kegeling and even then it wouldn't be as hard as now. And even though I relapsed, I'm still having nightwoods. So porn deffeneatly wasn't my main problem. Now I'm going to go a few weeks without orgasms and masturbation while doing reverse kegels and will report progress in a few weeks.

    Marco, very similar here and I'm still very happy with my progress since I found YBOP and YBR.

    During PMO: Could only get hard to very hard porn, no way could I even think of masturbating to fantasy or WITHOUT fantasy.

    Today: I MO'd (story below) to NOTHING, no fantasy, no thoughts, with a rock hard 90% erection (I say 90% cause it seemed the head was less swole)

    Story:

    As you know in this thread we've been discussing kegels/RKs, and for the last 2-3 days I've been focusing on nothing but RK and staying relaxed. Around this time of not PMOing I get anxious and want to test, bad I know, but I'm not fussed if I go back a step because I know I'm improving tenfold. Anyway, I was doing some RK but I only seem to get the push sensation in my rectum/PC muscles not in the penis itself, people claim they can push pee out which I really can't seem to do, I thought if I got a little wood it would help "feel things", so as I was RKing, keeping everything very very relaxed, breathing deeply, to my amazement with no arousal (I was playing scientist, no thoughts about sex) I started to get very hard with minimal touch, I would RK and gentle massage or feel to see if I could find "tensing" areas, but all the while I was getting harder. I was amazed at my 90%er (haha) and after very very few strokes (still completely relaxed) I had a great Orgasm, with.. interesting ejaculation, started dribble with the consistency of water then came the involentary PC muscle tense and boom normal shots. So from this I learnt that RK is helping me get great Orgasms back, and honestly just better feeling in my penis, I'm really happy I don't feel I need to tense to get off. I probably came fast due to a combination of no-MO for a month (buildup), extreme sensitivity (great!), and maybe tight PC muscles? although I made sure NO tensing, it may just be from my M habits over the years to come asap or to try to stay hard with P i would really have to beat it.

    Long story short, quitting P = great, quitting = MO, great for some, probably everyone, doing RK = really great, felt like my first ever masturbation again. Testing is usually bad but I already know this will be a long experience for me, I even feel MORE confident knowing that I can achieve great erections so will give me hope with a partner. (no performance anxiety)

    Edit: I don't think we should worry overly about doing kegels when doing everyday activities, like getting off the toilet, bending over, I'm sure they are supposed to tense to control continence in cases of pressure changes on the bladder (that was a complete assumption, nothing medical), I'm going to try to stay RELAXED during the day but not actively stop the muscles duty. This is different situation than for those who are constantly tense down there. I also find RK a great way to just relax!

    Our progress looks really similar! The tensed up pc-muscles causes the corpus spongiosium(spell) and the head not to be inflated enough. That has been my main problem and also my erection now doesn't just go straight forward, it's starting to tilt upp some degrees which looks nicer.

    Damn intense cough, makes me tense up my pc-muscle every time!

    Really angry at my doctor as well. He tested blood sugar and testo and he's like. It's only psychological. The majority of people your age who can't get an erection is because of psychological issues. NO, it's not. It's only because you dismiss all of them as psychological after blood test and call that a diagnosis. Fucking hate doctors.

    I have to confess, I MO'ed again, am I upset? No way! Today has been a major breakthrough in my life, I have learnt to control my orgasms and my penis with breathing and relaxation. I have been masturbating wrong for years (YEARS!), tensing penis/PC/BC, holding my breath, jerking like a mad man. Today I learnt to relax and breath - BREATH - during masturbation (and one day sex) on the inhale I relaxed my pelvic floor and the blood rushed into my penis completely the opposite of kegeling/tensing to squeeze blood in!

    O fcourse I don't know what effect this will have on my reboot, but considering I have zero interest in P I doubt I'll ever use it again. If it makes rewiring slightly longer so be it, I learnt a LESSON today and it will stick with me and I'm happy to learn it now as opposed to months down the line.

    Guys. What kind of kegel/reverse kegel routines do you use? What about other kind of pelvic exercise? I'd be interested to hear you describe them a bit.

    I tried not kegeling when urinating, i get to a point where i can either dribble it all out with reverse kegel, prob take about 20 mins. or just kegel hard 5 or 6 times and empty my bladder. I have no issues starting. Is this not the norm?

    I don't have any specific "routine", I do reverse kegels through the day when I feel like it and other times I try to keep muscles relaxed and avoid all kegeling (especially when urinating). I also massage pelvic area every day for a few minutes and do smoe stretching. You have the links to all these things somewhere in this thread.

    How can I avoid kegeling/tensing the PC when I'm working out: see squats/general glute exercises... I just got home from the gym and I have the feeling to pee all he time something is up with these muscles!

    I read somewhere that fast intense kegels are the worst on PEgym. You can't avoid all, I i don't think you tense it as hard as you would've if you kegel after urinating, hard and fast contractions. Not ideal. The most imortant thing for me has been the reverse kegeling.

    Yeah hard and fast are undoubtedly the worst, I remember when I thought kegeling would solve my issues and did 50 hard and fast squeezes, next time I pissed it burnt from my balls to my ass, probably still recovering.

    Fucking funny thing is i'm trying to sort out my posture and fix a pelvic imbalance and hip flexor issue, the best thing to help me is glute activiation and the more I do that the more I fuck up my PC muscles, what a joke!

    I _know_ that I can get 100% erections when things are ok, as I MO'd twice in the last 3 days purely from reverse kegeling, the sensation of stretching my PC muscles -undoing years of fuckery- felt so god damn good I had to O and if anything it has helped me understand that I have to just relax my pelvis and not keep tension there.

    My plan for now is to reverse kegel in the morning - during the night I get wood and I must tense when rolling over - everyday and just do my glute activation 2 times a week but this isn't really giving my PC muscles time to rest. I'm not sure what's best, I'd like to see a physio but I live pretty remotely.

    Edit: This thread has been amazing guys, I am concurring with the increased libido and such from this, even after MOing twice I feel great (it was purely using reverse kegels + VERY slight touch). I will stop kegeling to finish urinating, instead I will gently massage the perineum. Again, PLEASE keep updating the thread I am vibing the support/input/experiences a lot!

    Glad to see others are seeing improvements from RK. I posted on this awhile ago and definitely got some results, but definitely need to keep doing it. RK are uncomfortable but I've found I can isolateuch better now, but I have a ways to go. Glad to hear im not the only one who ended up having to kegel to pee. I can't remember when that started, but I know it was very early in my porn career. I always worried I missed up my muscles from wanking, now I know for sure. Keep posting guys.

    Have you guys been doing PC muscle stretching (where you encirce shaft and balls with index and thumb, than pull upward towards the torso for 30 sec)? I think they help even more than reverse kegels.

    Btw, how are your night/morning woods? Have they improved in quality since reverse kegels? I think mine have improved a little.

    Not yet Marco, I don't really want to mess around down there too much, In fact I'm giving myself 3 days rest from any exercises at all, just keeping everything relaxed.

    I think I'm very weak down there. I did some reversed and massaging for a day. Just 5x10 sek reversed for a day. My erection improved a lot the next day. Yesterday I did too many of em and the muscles are kinda tires, can't hold them as long as I did the day before. I think if you have really weak pc-muscles like me you need 2-3 days rest for them aswell, remember they are just like any other muscle and if they're weak, they need much rest in the beginning. Reversed isn't just stretching.
