    ### For those just reading this thread it contains a lot of useful information about the benefits of PC muscle health, I would recommend it to anyone who may think they have tight PC muscles from bad masturbation habits over years (tensing) ###

    Hey all,

I've been thinking, since PMO is unhealthy or at least excessive P use then what else have I been doing wrong? I feel I may have over active PC muscles from overuse of them throughout my masturbating career. However, I do not know what "normal masturbation" is.

Since I can remember when M'ing I always tensed up because tensing = coming faster = not getting caught. This then became ingrained and every ejaculation would be with tensing, but this is normal right? Since even in porn the guy ejaculates two or three "loads" which is done by tensing the PC muscles?

I tried to masturbate 1) without stop and go and 2) without tensing at orgasm. Firstly whenever I felt like I could come I would stop automatically, or tense the PC to prolong the buildup or whatever even if I didn't want to. Secondly, whenever I would orgasm I would auto tense my PC muscles right before the ejaculation as if to try to stop it. I also wanted to know if it's normal to tense your PC muscle to squeeze out the last bit of pee or would this be overusing it? I'm really trying to not use the muscle in hope that it will relax but I use it all the time! Getting into bed I squeeze it, ending peeing too (might be normal?).

I noticed from not PMOing my erections being rock hard but me not knowing they were there, this freaked me out at first I thought "oh god my penis is numb" but I think in reality this is just normal, untensed, relaxed erections, just full of blood with no tensing of the PC.

Unfortunately whenever I get 20 days without O I get all scared about prostate issues which could just be blue ball and I have to O to release/calm myself/destress. This leads to old style erections where I can feel the erections and quite frankly I'm going to try to stop to go back to the non-tensed erection.

I'm a virgin so I really don't know what's normal apart from my limited experience with myself.

I'm going to respond not only to you, but also to other users that posted similar question. Guys, RELAX. Overmasturbation can, at worst, cause some temporary irritation to the skin of your penis. But nothing else. PMO damages our brain, not our genitals.

How can you be so sure? I've been reading different stories for the last 7 hours today. I do believe porn is a big factor, but for us who see nearly no improvement it's possible the masturbation technique could have damaged us further.

Me and many other people online used the same technique for many years and many doctors online agree it can cause damage. There's also ALOT of bogus sites out there. I started masturbating when I was nine, I tensed upp my pc-muscles sporadically during the short session and masturbated faster when I did this. Using this technique i managed to cum within a few minutes which was the only goal back then. Getting this "orgasm" since I was too young to feel horny. After a few years of doing this I just started coming faster and faster. Now I come within 30 seconds of masturbating even if I try not to flex the PC-muscle unless I started edging, I always started edging to porn. My erections were terrible at the age of 15 leading me to think it wasn't JUST the porn causing this. I only masturbated to porn a year before that and still a weak erection to porn seems to extreme. My ejaculatory force and urine stream force has also become weaker of the years, now my semen just dribbles out and has for several years.

I'm going to keep researching this thoroughly for the next 2 days, just try to find someone who has solved this issue. More people on the forum are searching for a missing factor in all this, people abstaining PMO for years and still no progress, this COULD be one of the factors.

Reversed kegels is the only thing i've found online that has had an effect on this, it might have been something else too of course but I will try ANYTHING to fix my erection.

And yes, I also have to use my PC-muscle several times to get the last urine out of my bladder.

What I'm trying to say is that it's useless to try to self-diagnose the causes of erection problems using the information you can find on the internet. As I wrote in another topic, I have delayed for a few months the beginning of my rebooting because I thought that my symptoms were caused by a prostatitis, since that was the diagnosis that I did by myself using the internet. But I was completely wrong! I got checked by a doctor and my prostate was absolutely healthy. So, if you suspect that you may have a physical problem in your genitals, just see a doctor. Internet researchs are useless.

Well, I've been to the doctor that did the T/bloodsugar tests. I think it's impossible for a doctor to see if your PC-muscle is contracting faulty or something. All doctors seems to think masturbation is the cure for everything and can't cause you any harm.

Is it normal to masturbate using the PC-muscle during the whole session? I thought it was because it seemed natural.

I always used my pc muscles too ! And I do beleive that is has caused harm , used your pc muscles while wanking i think tightens on your prostate which is why you cum faster , I don't know if any of you guys experienced this but some times after orgasm I would get a pain in my prostate , plus I've noticed that my pc muscles are kinda contracted all the time , so I have started making sure my ass is always relaxed and I'm doing reverse kegals wen ever I can

After reading online for 10 hours today about the issue. Wow, my eyes are exploding. Well! I've read about 3-4 stories online about people whom has masturbated excessively while clenching the pc-muscle in order to come faster since 8-10 years old and have recovered. Using reversed kegels. When you start masturbating before you feel horny, the orgasm is the only time you feel good. So you decrease the chances of getting caught and to orgasm faster by clenching the pc-muscles. This also causes Premature Ejaculation and makes the pc muscle spasm or be clenched unconsciously. I suffer from PE and ED, the PE i'm sure is because of this and hopefully it might be causing the ED aswell.

I masturbated this way for maybe 7-8 years almost daily... According to the long threads about kegels/reversed kegels on PEgym it's about the balance between the pelvic muscles that have to be restored or in some cases, just rested. Reversed kegels relaxes and stretches these muscles.

One guy I read about had ED for a year and 3 days after he started reversed kegels his erection was fine again. Placebo or not, I woke up with a 50 % erection this morning. This has happened maybe 3 times in my life. I really don't want to get my hopes up to much and I will still got he full no PMO treatment but i really think this can be the missing component people have been looking for at this forum.(the really long rebooters).

Yes, you've been doing it wrong. We all have. Tensing the pelvic muscles pumps blood into the penis and increases excitement, so no wonder why we do it. It feels good.

It becomes a problem when you're fucking a woman doggystyle and she's all excited and moaning. You will not be able to relax them and control yourself, thus cumming fast and prematurely.

Don't freak out though, just breath deeply when having sex, while trying not to tense your pc muscles, and you'll be fine.

I might be affected by this too and cant control precum leakage with my girl which causes very weak erections and PE. For now I'm doing reverse kegels every day and see how it goes from there.

Apparently you can get some muscle relaxers without any prescription.

    Is it a good idea?

Yes, my problem exactly. I used to do kegels since early days in order to come faster and now the only way for me to get fully hard is to kegel. This can cause both ED and especially PE. Now I try to keep them relaxed as much as I can but reverse kegels would help too, so can anyone explain in simple terms how to do reverse kegels? Thanks.

There are 2 different ones but you won't be able to isolate them from the beginning. So just pee and try to improve the force of the stream, push it out. thats the muscle. Also try pushing a fart at the same time. After a while you will learn how to do this without flexing the abs and isolate them one by one.

Another thing, do you also have to use kegels to get the last urine out of the bladder? Most of the people who masturbated this way has to. This should go away after a couple weeks reversed kegels. Even though you're only relaxing and stretching the muscles with reversed kegels try doing them every other day or so. The muscles still need rest. Visit the PEgym thread called reversed kegels for good tutorials and the benefits from them.

Don't start doing all that other shit they do to improve size and such. Jelqing etc.

Re: Have I been doing it wrong all this time? / Overactive PC Muscles?

Over tight PC muscles are real. I actually had pain on ejaculation for quite a while (had to stop masturbating for the most part) because I started to do kegel exercises without reverse kegels. And had been masturbating this way.

Fixed it by massaging my pelvic floor, and am doing reverse kegels now. I still have the 'flex kegels to finish peeing issue' so there must still be some tightness there even though I have no pain left.

No idea if it's currently affecting erections. In my case I think that's all still PMO related.

Aha, so reverse kegels is like pushing a stream of urine and pushing out a fart. This should botht be done few times a day right?

Yup, I had to do this for as long as I can remember, I thougth it was normal but I guess it's not. And another thing, when I'm orgasming my PC muscles get contracted automaticlly, but I think that IS normal.

That's what they're there for pushing out the semen!

I just masturbated, i didn't get so hard but for almost the first time in my life it didn't just dribble out, I ejaculated a feet like a real man should. Do yours also dribble? Also a sign of overused pc-muscle apparently. Also felt a slight pain again when I came in the pc-muscles. Happened alot before. So now on i'm skipping the masturbation, gonna do some reversed kegels and hope for more improvement and hope the effects i've seen isn't just some sort of placebo.

Yeah, they dribble almost always, I rarely ejaculate with force. How long does it take on average to see the improvement from reverse kegels?

One guy recover fully within 3 days from a year of ED. I've had ED/PE since atleast 15, probably will take a while. I don't know what your stats are. On the stories i've found you will probably see improvements quite early if you also give your muscles time to rest. A couple of weeks maybe, otherwise it might JUST be PIED.

My erection problems started shortly after I started using porn, makes no sense to be PIED at that time but I probably worsend(?) it with porn alot and the porn/depression/anxiety is probably what killed my libido. I really hope i've we've stumbled on to something revolutionary that will help those really long rebooters as well. Our symptoms are really similar to eachother and to others who have masturbated the same, it really makes sense... But now we can just hope.

Re: Have I been doing it wrong all this time? / Overactive PC Muscles?

I get the dribble ejaculation as well, though not everytime. And yes, the PC muscles are supposed to contract at the moment of ejaculation, though I believe it should by rhythmic.

I've been pushing out like I'm trying to pee faster, to do reverse kegels. Is that how they're supposed to be done? I've been doing kegels too, but fewer of them compared to the reverse kegels, for less time, with less intensity. Should I keep doing kegels as a counterbalance?

Edit: I had ED before I tried kegel exercises, so I don't think this is the only thing. Though I always masturbated while tensing.

Can you relate to any of my other symptoms? My corpus spongosium(the sponge thing under the penis) doesn't really get inflated, a little bit half way then it goes flat. The same goes for the glans, it's never filled either. I've read stories today about people having these symptoms I have after a penile bending injury but also after overusing the pc-muscle.

My penis is also bent a little down at the middle which makes me worried i've got peyronie's disease even though it's highly unlikely at my age.
