Does anybody believe or consider the possibility of addiction to TV or YouTube? I've not watched Porn in a long time but in the past Christmas holidays I was spending in the region if 12 hours either watching YouTube, TV or on the internet. I was experiencing a rush like sensation in my head, mood swings which are getting worse and no real libido or erections. I've serverly reduced my time spent on them but when I do use them sometimes I get that same sensation.

Yes. I think we can 'addict' to anything, particularly super-normal stimuli (porn, TV, YouTube) for a host of reasons.

The greater the chemical hit something provides, with enough time we will learn to expect/depend on it and when we don't experience the particular stimulus our brains will kick back at us (disruption of homeostasis, aka withdrawals).

What's the 12 hours of videos per day symptomatic of?

I would get change my diet, be more active, have a better bedtime routine and feel and notice progress. Then I'd get to a point where I feel I need to "rewire" but I find that difficult to find opportunities. My recovery would almost fall of a cliff and I'd feel I loose the progress . Usually Id watch football (soccer) amd be engrossed in it. Now this time round I feel a rush which I didn't feel before. Accompanied with the fact I may be in a flatline it's concerning.
