Love that show Harvester! My your love of Jesus bring you more strength then ever before.
My collection problem was a series of web links. I too have deleted them in the past only to start building another collection later. Right now, they are gone with major plans to never start building again - I do not miss them, thankfully. I hope you find the strength to delete your collection, for good. I believe our lives, even the problems that live in them, will be clearer and the problems not as big as we have built them up to be. I read an article in this months Psychology Today about how nature and awe inspiring experiences can ground us. And, as counter intuitive it was for me, make us feel small (and make our problems feel small as well). May you find yourself out in nature and see the beauty surrounding you and the wonder of the natural world.

The best way to win it is keep yourself busy, get new hobbies and focus on ones that you neglected. Change things in your house and just don't think of porn or that stuff. Delete everything you have, even passwords, links, emails etc.

    Good luck.
  3. Thanks both. I should state definitively that I have indeed deleted everything for good as of this reboot. Just my mind playing the usual games on me about how maybe all i needed was to stop wasting time looking but keep the stuff I had. I am wise to those tricks now though and I can see it for what it is....just baiting to get me back my using cyçle. Day 15 almost in the books!
  4. Day 16. Day 30 will be rarefied air for me so starting to get a little excited. I can count on one hand how many times I've gone that long not looking at P in the last 20 years.
  5. here's something inspirational if you're Christian or even spiritual at's a verse commentary by Charles Spurgeon that i got in my email today. i thought it was very powerful and spoke to the dangers of thinking we always do these things on our own. pardon the old english...Spurgeon was a very influential English pastor about a hundred years ago...

"Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins."
    Psalm 19:13

Such was the prayer of the "man after God's own heart." Did holy David need to pray thus? How needful, then, must such a prayer be for us babes in grace! It is as if he said, "Keep me back, or I shall rush headlong over the precipice of sin." Our evil nature, like an ill-tempered horse, is apt to run away. May the grace of God put the bridle upon it, and hold it in, that it rush not into mischief. What might not the best of us do if it were not for the checks which the Lord sets upon us both in providence and in grace! The psalmist's prayer is directed against the worst form of sin--that which is done with deliberation and wilfulness. Even the holiest need to be "kept back" from the vilest transgressions. It is a solemn thing to find the apostle Paul warning saints against the most loathsome sins. "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry." What! do saints want warning against such sins as these? Yes, they do. The whitest robes, unless their purity be preserved by divine grace, will be defiled by the blackest spots. Experienced Christian, boast not in your experience; you will trip yet if you look away from him who is able to keep you from falling. Ye whose love is fervent, whose faith is constant, whose hopes are bright, say not, "We shall never sin," but rather cry, "Lead us not into temptation." There is enough tinder in the heart of the best of men to light a fire that shall burn to the lowest hell, unless God shall quench the sparks as they fall. Who would have dreamed that righteous Lot could be found drunken, and committing uncleanness? Hazael said, "Is thy servant a dog, that he should do this thing?" and we are very apt to use the same self-righteous question. May infinite wisdom cure us of the madness of self-confidence.
  6. 18...and life you got it...18 and life to go !
  7. 19. Doesn't feel exçeptional. Lord protect me from myself.
  8. Day 21 and I am towing the line but not feeling positive at all. I think about going back. I honestly feel like I'm just striving to day 30 like its and end of itself. God keep me from this pure muscle memory stuff...

    Gabriel1960 Self-Actualization Rocks!!!

You're doing great!!! Keep it going! Meditate if you have to!

I need to mention that the daily blogging and reading routine, which is helping greatly, is also pretty triggering. (But then again, so is watching TV.)

So, although this suite of websites is somewhat triggering, the good outweighs the bad. I noticed than on one of these lists they even have a problem with bloggers recommending the hiring of prostitutes! That's not what I was expecting to see here. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire!

Great idea! Avoid PMO! Get Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and a whole host of other hard to spell STDs! Now there's a solution. That must of been what they meant when they thought up the metaphor of hitting oneself on the head with a hammer to cure a headache. LOL.

A lot of people here don't agree with that recommendation, however, a lot of young dudes on this website have zero sexual history with real people, as well as huge performance anxiety. Your sexual history is nothing like those who grew up with porn from a young age, it's not even close I bet?

I'm not condoning prostitutes, but I see the point of "using" them for a 22 year old virgin who's been fapping their dick to pornography for ten years, especially when they are deathly afraid of failing with a girl they really like. I get it. It doesn't have to be forever.

Sure, prostitutes are in theory another possible addiction, but the reality is that real women are real women, and they are a far cry from 2D porn on a screen.
  12. Update on me. After 3 weeks clean fell off the wagon hard for 2+ weeks. Got myself back together and six days clesn again. That's all I'll say now. Don't stop believing...
