    hey friends!
    I am joining this forum Becusse i am looking to quit watching porn for good!
    Just like everyone else here!
    I only watch it maybe 1-2 times a week, but I really would like to ditch it all together.
    It only seems to get “triggered” when I get bored at home.
    Does anyone have any tips on how to start breaking that?

    Welcome VJOW.

    What made you realize that porn is a problem for you?

    This suggests to me that you are young and/or new to No PMO. That's actually quite a lot, assuming that you're edging when you do "watch". It could be worse, when I was in college, I would have a couple multi-hour binges every day and be rushing home saying to myself "porn, porn, porn, porn".

    Until you build some resistance, I would say "don't get bored". There is always something to do. It doesn't have to be super ambitious, just get moving on something that isn't on the computer.

    Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you already identified a cue that leads to porn use, so just make adjustments by changing up your daily routine to avoid getting bored at home.

    UPDATE:
    2 days in and doing well.
    Mindfulness based meditation is helping a lot.
    I would encourage some to try it if you haven’t!

    Day 3:
    Thinking this will serve as a means of documentation for me.
    Finding sex drive to be almost non existent, I have read that it take a litttle while to “reboot” staying optimistic!

    Day 6.
    Noticing how much I can sometimes see legs or hips on women and view them objectively rather than realizing they are human.
    It seems the pornography has a stronger grasp than I thought!
    I was tired from working early today but was very aware of how the temptation could come up.
    Stoked about that!
    Let’s keep it going!

    Day 11:
    Still NF but finding myself getting irritable while simultaneously craving it.
    Are “withdrawal-ish” symptoms something that happens to everyone?
    This shit is hard yo!

    Day 15:
    I am getting the hang of not giving in when I’m sleep deprived. As Monday’s and Tuesday’s are my “early” days. (4am wake time)
    Feeling great!
    Devoting my time to other stuff that’s MUCH more worth while!
