I am someone who at the moment is stuck at home 85% of the time due to uncontrollable circumstances. I work from home also. In my downtime I spend time on YouTube watching mostly educational videos and some regular entertainment videos. If I choose to play video game say 1-2 hours a day would that be a problems to the brain? Playing games like Mario or Zelda open world games where you just explore the world etc instead of say shooters or MMO’s?

I don’t have a problem with porn. I’m just wondering if someone spends a good portion of their day on YouTube watching mostly educational videos and some entertainment alongside some video games everyday is that problematic to the brain in terms of deltafosB and all that? If you’re still say reading books and getting regular exercise throughout the day and it’s not effecting your relationships etc is their a direct problem with spending time watching YouTube videos and playing video games in moderation on the brain?
