    Hi everyone!

I'm sorry if this question had been covered, and if it has perhaps someone could point me in the right direction...

I recently stopped PMO all together after losing my girlfriend of 7 years due to an action caused by my problem. I have MO'd once since. We are friends now and I have a chance to work things out, so all though I'm anxious about the relationship I'm wondering - I used to PMO or MO right before bed pretty consistently, and I am wondering of the severe anxiety I am experiencing upon waking is a withdrawal symptom of the reboot? Was my brain used to a certain chemical balance at night?

Within a few hours of waking 3-4 usually, the anxiety/panic episode fades. And though afterwards I am still a bit unsettled about what the future holds for me and my ex, the intensity is not debilitating as it is in the morning.

    Thanks guys!

In the majority of mornings in my last decade, I have experienced morning anxiety as I wake up (5-10 minutes). These started to fade away after 3-4 months of rebooting.

Interesting. The more I learn about this problem, the more it all clicks. Seems hard to believe that one could go for so long being influenced by it.. but that's the nature of addiction i suppose.
