increased attraction from woman?

I have been reading plenty of blogs etc in the last couple of days. A few people have noticed that they think woman are more attracted to them when they abstain from porn and masturbation for some time. I have been wondering how this can possibly be. Surely any improvement would come from within when we take the porn blinkers off. Why would women be more attracted to the guy?

    any ideas?

i was thinking maybe subtle things like a renewed sense of confidence and a more vibrant outlook. could these things have such a powerful effect?

In my opinion, I think it has to do more with the porn user's perception of the women around him than with women actually feeling more attraction. It seems to me that with the rejuvenation of our actual libidos we will be more inclined to notice the subtle cues women will give off while in public. That is to say, now that I'm starting to get my real libido back, I will unconsciously look for the women around me to send off signals--when I was using porn heavily, I wouldn't even notice the women, let alone the signals.

It may also have more to do with having more self confidence. I know that I have been feeling quite a bit more confident, and the knowledge that if I get turned on I can't just go masturbate it away later means that I have to actually *gasp* talk to real women.

Have to? Are you going to explode into a white, red, and pink puddle of guts if you get turned on and don't do either? :p

In my experience, watching porn has a complicated effect on my relationship to women: on one level it is a convenient sexual outlet. However, watching women in porn has the effect of elevating them even more: my fascination for women, and their sexual power becomes more acute. The impact is that my interactions with women in real life become more fraught, and they seem more powerful, less approachable.

From my experience, cutting out the porn and the MBing seems to simplify everyday interactions with women, and also allows me to pick up more subtelties. The great thing is that I find it takes a few days, not weeks, for the effect to manifest itself.

I don't think that this is perception, it is really from your hard-gained charisma. I had 45 of rebooting then relapse and I had a few days, where my charisma was just infectious. My eyes brightened my skin looked better and I had much confidence. And well, women love the confidence.
The real questions is actually , how a person could develop into an unattractive person? My suggestion is that most rebooters have a strong libido ( over the average), so they just did not know what to do with their sexual energy, so they decided to watch porn , like the slogan " that's better than nothing".
And that's probably why many men have so strong benefits: Because they really have a big libido, and this means also big energy. While rebooting the porn is prevented to absorb the energy, so...
That's sth. I've never understand. I always knew I am somehow a cool guy, a man who really have big potential but there was always sth. which prevented me.I mean everything we gain from the reboot , are things which we should have got already years before.

I would add 1 more reason why guys who stoped their addiction become more attractive. I read in some book about body language that smokers(addicts) have higher stress level than non smokers and look at this study

That is a fascinating post. Looks like those symptoms of high cortisol levels are also common symptoms of depression and anxiety.

But early in reboot, in first 2 weeks in reboot stress will be higher than usual, like its periord of brain adaptation, but after many guys report calmness as benefit.
It is important to have a few hobby as stress relief during recovery.

Just my experience, i'm curently on 26 day in recovery.

Each masturbation is one woman who could've been penetrated (and inseminated). That is -1 point in (subconscious) attractiveness and +100 point for real sex. Everytime you masturbated because you had a negative feeling (stress, sadness, boredom, depression, anger), you cheated on yourself, you think you masked the problem, but women will feel that something is wrong with you. My girl did, I didn't know what she was talking about, she just knew that my happiness was fake even though I perceived it as real, until I reached about 70 days of no PMO. Then I got what she meant...

    Women like happy men.

    That's they way I see it. :)

I've been giving this some thought as well. I think that a strong libido in combination with the isolation factor, is what caused us to become addicts. The isolation factor is crucial, since there are also plenty of men who are womanizers :)

I agree with you 100% about women.
