that cannot be removed manually? I will now create a random password and not remember it all or write it down. Will be blocking several sites and as many camsites as possible(even though I only use one site)so I won't turn to other pages and still spend my money.

I have spent over 8,500 dollars in two years on it alone

Oh man I can totally relate since I've had a camsite addiction as well. And yes I've also spended quite some money on it. Every month I always had phone bills up to 100 - 200 euros (roughly 150 - 250 dollars / just a guess).

Have you tried K9? My brother keeps my password and he knows that if I want to change something I show him what I've changed and he stays in the room until I've logged off my K9 program.

K9 can also block specific website, which can be usefull when a website isn't blocked by the blocker and you can also use time restrictions. F.e. I block my internet from 10 p.m. till 6 a.m. in the morning, this is great for late night internet browsing if I can't sleep.

Camsites are a horrible addiction and the thing is these women are just so fake.

I've actually been clean for a long time from camsites and the above has definetly worked great for me.

I just have a hard time believing that a filter will stop an addict. There's nothing wrong with using one, as long as you don't depend on it for keeping you away from porn. Be sure that you're making major lifestyle changes in order to make real, permanent change.

I agree with the previous post. A filter will not stop an addict. I, myself, am in my second reboot because the first one failed miserably. For this second reboot I am trying something totally radical. I am pretending that my penis is only useful to pee and nothing beyond that. Maybe you should try to be away from your computer and block anything that may make you relapse. Even television can be a huge setback.

I've tried many times to create a porn-proof environment and it didn't worked out. It may hold you back for sometime but eventually you will get through it if you're determined to do so.

You need to adress the root of the problem.

    I've sunk thousands and thousands.

On Thursday I had to take the very uncomfortable step of coming clean to my parents and giving them the log in information for my bank account. I told them what charges to look for, that those were unacceptable. I told them how much money should be coming into the account every month in case I ever tried to open up a secret account or something. So now I have people I really don't want to let down holding me accountable, and I feel good about this method.

Hopefully that is helpful to you. And as much as possible, just get rid of your computer.

I've sunk almost $5,000 into one camsite and made double-digit numbers of accounts. I've deleted accounts trying to stop, but for whatever reason, I always come back for more.

I tried K9 web protection and deleted the password, but that did no good.

Currently, I'm using block.si and another site blocker. Just today, I deleted another account on this camsite. You're not alone man.

Off course a filter won't stop everything, but that doesn't mean that it's not usefull. You can literally stop most of the shit that you'll encounter.

Off course you need to do other stuff as well, never rely 100% on that filter, but that's not what I'm saying here.

If you've wasted so much money on camsites (like I have done), then you need drastic measures like a filter. Also OP, something I did was give away my credit card to my dad, so that if I do have a weak moment or I find a loophole in my filter, then it won't be so easy to get access. Maybe you can give it to someone who knows about you're problem that you can trust?

Just a small remark, there is no such thing as a second reboot. It's just a continuous process, if you relapse you don't start over, you just continue and adjust you're activities.

good luck with the penis stuff :D

In the end it is all about the choices we make. That is what defines us. Using filters and such are helpfull in preventing those accidental popups that can trigger a negative response.

Install filters and popup blockers to help you. Do not rely on them. One have to choose to reach a goal. Prevent yourself from rewarding yourself when you reach a goal. Simply set the next goal.

My biggest mistake was in December thinking that certain emails sent to me was ok to peek at. It simply is the start of worse to come. An alcoholic don't buy a soda at a bar. That is looking for trouble. In South Africa we have a saying "Do not play with the lions balls, simply stay away from the lion otherwise you will be eaten". Same principal applies.

To me looking at a woman in a bikini is anough of a trigger. We have to learn to control this. Setting boundries for ourselfs and not crossing those boundries. Every time we cross a boundry it shifts.
