There's a lot of talk going around about how the 90 days thing is not a good way to look at it. However I still like the idea and it gives me a gauge and something to keep my eye on. That being said it is a lifelong deal that has to be taken one day at a time. I haven't made it very long yet but I have quit substances like prescription painkillers and the cravings do subside (assuming this is similar) as the time goes on. Triggers blindside me out of nowhere being 2 years sober and I imagine that will never end completely.

I am all for being pro active though because just sitting on your ass waiting for 90 days is pointless. Get out and go for things that put you out of your comfort zone and get things done and that facilitates the process. We all have our own things we know we should be working on and quitting pmo is just as much about doing those as it is not wackin it to porn. I can't wait to reach 90...and beyond!

That's an absurd statement. There are many examples here that disprove it.

Is that statement based on experience?

yes, true. there is some science behind this also.

it's so true the saying, time is a healer.

I confirm, although the amount of days is not dead set at 90. For me it became easy after about 50, but those first days are definitely the hardest. Just got to use whatever means possible to get through them and it will become more manageable after.

...lol, I can see some jimmies gonna be russled at this post. I think OP is trolling. Nevertheless, I only really found it was starting to get easier after 180 days.

I am not trying to put words in his mouth but from some of his recent posts I can only imagine Underdog would not be too stoked about the op's claim. lol

The statement is not false. Too bad it is also valid with every other number of days.

Shout out to all the guys relapsing on day 91
