    agenda.

I think the reason why I doubt the studies, anecdotal evidence, and you have what is because of the cheesy statements on here.

I also think women are NOT paying attention to you or all of a sudden feel your sexual energy wahoo contained in you. YOU are the one paying attention now that porn is not your focus anymore.

Also it gets on my nerves when people say porn caused this, this, and this. I can understand with ED, low libido, and mood swings but other ailments such as social anxiety could be predisposed and not attributed to porn.

I'm addicted to porn and I'm severely addicted to cam sessions where I pay 200 dollars per week for it. I'm frequently broke as you can guess but it doesn't mean I believe in the "science" of no fap/no porn pseudo benefits. I can give up my addiction and not see any beneficial "changes" like people post here all the damn time. The only thing that'll change is my banking account. I believe in porn addiction but not the no fap/no porn thing.

I mean what the fuck are people doing giving up masturbation forever? It's beneficial to your prostate and mental health in general. I just don't get this all of a sudden phenomena that has grasped the male internet community for the past several years and think their lives will be completely altered if they gave up porn on day one?

This is all I have to say, thanks.

  2. Yeah, sometimes I think it's total placebo.

I mean, go on r/NoFap, there are tons of "success stories" like: "I'm 1 week into NoFap, today I approached a girl and K-closed her."

What the fuck, man? You gotta be kidding me. ::)

I agree man. Some people are pointing at porn for all their problems, some people have religous agendas and some people are idiots. The vast majority on here are ok and will give you great advice.

The only thing I know is; Porn desensitizes you to real women 'in the flesh' , some more than others. Quitting porn and fantasy, after a while, builds up your libido and horniness so that you become attracted to everyday women.

All your other problems will not be solved by porn. Although, having said that you will be 800$ better off p/m. Your gonna be 9,200$ better off a year! So for you quitting porn literally does pay off!!

I agree with you guys. Porn is responsible for some of the things that happens to us, but not everything. I had social anxiety before I even had a computer, so it wasn't caused by porn. I never was an outgoing person even before I knewwas nudity was. People expect too much out of quitting porn.

I agree with you to an extent and yes I'm very sceptical of the stories where people claim to have superpowers etc. However for me I'm rebooting because it helps my stress and headaches. Basically through excessive fapping I have developed chronic headaches. However when I do a nofap streak they start to get better. This not placebo, I genuinely feel much calmer and less stressed because my headaches get better. Granted this is a physical, medical thing but nofap really works for me. Now I have to commit for a good streak and allow myself to get better.

So you're still addicted? If so, that answers why you've not noticed any changes.

If you have given up your addiction and not seen any beneficial changes, then I'm guessing it's because you don't want to change. Addictions are not healthy.

I agree with him. If you're still addicted you're not going to see any changes. If you really want to quit you gotta do whatever it takes. For you sense you're spending money out the ass that's heavy motivation to quit

I think his point is that, although he is still addicted, he is skeptical of the claims of many of the people in the rebooting community. He is correct to be skeptical, of course, and ought to just try it out for himself.

I may agree with you regarding the idea that, instead of women taking more notice of you when you reboot, it is more the case that you notice the subtle cues of the women around you. In other words, women were always giving you these cues, it's just that your brainfogged brain didn't notice them.

I must admit that the benefits in terms of recovering your real libido are not at all exaggerated. This is the best thign about the process.

This is not a nofap site. This site is to help people rebalance their brains after hypersexualizing pixels and damaging their ability to have real relationships--which you acknowledge to be true and is the thrust of the material behind the YBOP site. Nofap goes farther than this into an ideology of preserving sexual and masculine energy.

In fact I have only seen a very small handful of people on here advocate the permanent end to MO though complete abstention from all P,M,andO is necessary to 'reboot' for a period of 60-90 days. If none of this makes sense to you why are here? You sort of sound like that alcoholic that denies alcohol causes problems for them. If not go in peace because this shit is working for us.

  10. Woah, now moing is beneficial to your prostate and mental health? Let's just get it down to simplicity: moing is no different to doing it with yourself. I'm unsure such narcissism is a good substitute for a real individual. Or how denial will change the reality.

Ultimately, you may think your Alice in Wonderland, but all your doing is falling further down the rabbit hole.

    Good luck!!

This was the answer I was looking for. I could try it out for myself but I'm aiming to defeat my cam addiction first and get my finances in order first.

If a guy who PMO'd for 20+ hours per week abstained from porn and used that time doing productive things and getting out of the house more, their self-esteem and social skills will increase. Amazing, that... ;)

Seriously though, based on my recent 100 day abstinence, I can confidently say that no PMO leads to significant physical benefits (quality erections, healthy skin etc) and the science proves this. However, I honestly didn't feel any psychological differences whatsoever. As someone who has conquered social anxiety over the last 5 years, I know these changes must come from within.

    Agree with the OP.

i agree with all of you! excusing themselves over the fact that they can't look a person straight in the eye because of porn is ridiculous! they have social anxiety and that's that! i read in here people saying that they don't have friends because of porn... seriously... you don't have friends because you don't go out.
