I am new, tried and failed before, and am hoping advice/people to talk to.
Hey Steven, and welcome! How long did you try before? Did you have any success, even a little? What do you think you were doing during that time that helped? What didn't help? How can you avoid those pitfalls this time around?
I tried for a couple months, and a little success. Trying to replace it with better habits helped. I think one of the main reasons was not having people to talk to about things with, which is part of why I joined this site.
Just relapsed. What is recommended for how to try again? I'm thinking write when what caused it this time, and how to avoid it next time. Did anyone have any other useful advice?
That's what I do. Analyze the reset, what triggered me. Then think of ways I could have avoided it, either by implementing one of my urge killing strategies or finding a way to avoid that particular trigger altogether.
