Hi, guys! After looking for help for many time without succes I found the site ybop and felt like seeing a light at the end of tunnel.
First, i am sorry for mistakes on my English. It s not my language. I can understand perfectly but my writing is no that good.
I m on porn for years. Last two or three years everything became worse. Loos interest on my job, my marriage finished, start to drink and going down and down.
I tryed some therapy and the only one I saw real results was one called Family Constellation. There i realised that the addiction is connected with my relationship with my parents. It was very clear for me to see the connections.
But the therapy helped to see this aspect and after that i didnt know what to do.
I also looked for help by talking with a budhist monk. I learned with him to have a different attitude with porn. Stop fighting and begin to accept it.
Accept means look at it is, without judgement. With objectivity. It doesnt mean tolerance. This attitude was new for me. And by this i learned to see new aspects of the addiction. I started to look at the whole process.
I also started to practise meditation. It also helps.
But i didnt feel ready to really face the thing.
When i found the ybop i finnally found a scientific explanation of the thing. No religion tendencies, no moralism, no judgments. Just look at what it happens on our bodies.
So i felt , for the first time, that is time to face the thing.
    I stopped 2 days ago.
    It s not being easy.
I hope to find help here to overpass the first weeks.
    Thanks!

    Ready for my third day

I am feeling ready to start my third day.
Yeasterday night i meditated one hour before going to sleep and read some of the journals of other people here. reading at the journals gave a new feeling: i am not alone on this journey. Thanks for all who are sharing their experiences!
And i had a good and quiet night. Now i ll meditate early in the morning and also a walk.
And then lets go for normal activities.
I wish all the best for those who are in this journey today!
