Hello YBR Forumites. I want to discuss the effects of PMO and NO PMO/FAP hardmode effects on hair. Both facial and head hair. What have you experiences been? Has abstinence played a positive, negative or no effect on head hair or facial hair? Has PMOing played a positive, negative or no effect on head hair or facial hair? Looking for those who have went 2 weeks or more of not ejaculating.
I think this is for the health section, I do get the sense that my hair loss has slowed down, but we all grow old and our hair changes regardless of PMO.
I've gone up to 9 months without ejaculating during this process. I'm currently on an 8 week streak. I haven't noticed any hair side effects at all. That's what some success stories claim! I never have experienced it myself, but I will say I've seen more than one account from people who have experienced more hair growth.
15 months with no ejaculation here. As far as improved hair results go. The biggest impact I've experienced is after I starting applying Dr. Ray Peat's philosophies to my general health. Also, consider my hair is past the middle of my back...with no recession. The thickness is what has definitely improved. Dr. Peat's philosophy is health at the Mitochondrial level...and keeping stress levels in check.
noticed more facial hair and stronger thicker hair in general, but I mainly thought I was imagining things. I think it's no direct physiological effect but and indirect one, as PMO quitters just begin to take better care of themselves + eat better.
Back when I had a few month-long porn free stretches it seemed my facial hair was growing faster. However, with hindsight, it was just that I cared more about it, and thus removed it more often.
