I'm a 43 year old man. Ive been addicted to porn as long as I can remember. When I was in grade school I found stacks of magazines hidden in the bush by my school. Other times there were magazines left out on the playground equipment, pages wide open. I'm assuming that was done for kicks by the older kids. There was also my fathers own collection of porn that he had hidden in his dresser drawers. A dresser that he shared with my mother. I remember going to garage sales with him as a kid. At some point he picked up an old reel to reel projector. With the projector came some old adult movies. My father invited friends over for beers and to watch these movies. We lived in a very small two bedroom house and my room was the only place that could be easily used for screenings. So it was. At some point later when I was around 10 or 11 my father gave me a stack of magazines and told me to be sure my mother never found out. Of course she did and the magazines were thrown out. This began kind of a cycle of finding porn and getting rid of it. It used to be a physical thing, where i have to go to a book store and decide which movie i wanted to rent or magazine i wanted to buy. Does anyone else have experiences like this? Specifically your father giving you porn.

    Welcome aboard sir.
That is a really bad legacy for a dad to give to his son. I remember My dad warning me against that type of activity. Said it was a hard habit to break. I have sometimes wondered if this was his experience speaking.

Before the internet I occasionally bought or found porn mags. Usually I would thrown them away after a short while. Part of the hoard dump cycle that has been a constant part of my life. I also spent a lot of time masturbating to clothing catalogues, men's magazines and other 'erotic' material. Since the internet I've had periods of bingeing over increasingly questionable content.

My dad never gave me porn, but would often sexualise women in adverts etc.
