Yes it's all about re-framing! Now urges are the thing to be anticipated.

Yeah I totally agree that resisting urges is like "leveling up". It works out the discipline muscle in your brain and makes you better adapted for future urges!

Great episode! I think you covered the most important parts.

An idea I had is that you could ask us (the listeners) to write what we have to say about the subject in the official podcast thread and then on the next episode you could start with a roundup of last week's episode, briefly mentioning any interesting perspectives brought up by the listeners in the thread. It would make the show a little bit more community-oriented and interactive. It's just a suggestion :)

Hey man! Thank you and thanks for dropping by! I appreciate the motivation - I've been finding avoiding orgasms with my partner a tough feat. I hope you like the show! :D

It's actually closer to 1 year and 8 months now....but who's counting ::) Thanks for dropping by!

I really like it! People are screaming for an episode on withdrawals and they are already askin questions. :)

Damn, that's exactly what I came in to ask you about lmao. I was going to ask when you had your panic attacks did you have much daily anxiety when you weren't in a full blown panic state? Sorry if this got answered in the show. What ya'll are doing is great!

Goodluck with your no O streak!

Fugu, I have noticed that it has been a while since you commented on the physical changes you have noticed? Any changes? Growth? Acne gone? Deeper voice? Stronger erections? Anything new in the past 2 months or so? Thanks.

Ah man, I'm so glad you are digging it! That's what it is for. It's fortunate for us, too, because it's a blast to do. 8)

The only thing in the last you made that I can confirm is better are my erections - they are much better than they were a year ago. I still have more rebooting and rewiring to do though. Orgasms (with my partner) are the primary cause for my weak erections. I find when I'm weeks removed from orgasms I general feel better, but after even ONE orgasm I'm starting to flatline again. I think I'm going to have to just do some more streaks of no O.

Otherwise, I'm feeling great! All time lows with anxiety and depression...just living life! :D

Did your vision improve or some health nuisance disappear?

I can't say for sure, but I know nowadays I'm less "foggy" when I'm looking at things. Things seem clearer and sharper, but I think this might have to do more with improved brain fog than with an ACTUAL improvement in my vision. I bet I'd test relatively the same NOW in a vision test as I would when I was a porn addict.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's the direct effect from the process, but also, whenever you are fighting urges (which you probably have many many times), it's comparable to meditation in training your brain. Meditation has been scientifically proven to increase focus (I think through increased gray matter production).
