I'm thankful for another squeaky clean week, especially have my Year 2 mark reminder (aka -- total fuck up). :)

Progress, not perfection is the answer, my friends!
Everyone can get to the mountain top with consistent effort. Nobody will ever be perfect.

What I am probably most grateful for is that my relapse this time really was just a blip. It was a real relapse though, won't deny it, it wasn't just a slip up.
But, I truly and fairly easily pulled right out of it. I couldn't do that in the past, I was trapped or at least thought I was.

Remember that no day clean is ever wasted or down the toilet. They compound and make us stronger, and wiser, and better.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we all have to get healthy in every way or we're not gonna beat this thing.
Health is the antidote to addiction. In every way, sexual, financial, emotional, spiritual, physical...leave no stone unturned.

You simply gotta live as fully as you possibly can...addiction is the opposite of living like that, it's like choosing death in a small way, slow suicide. You're saying to the universe -- I don't really wanna be here and live this life.

    You're saying -- I want out.
    Think about it.
Life or death in every small choice, every day.

Neurons build the slowest. Stroke: The muscle strength is there but the pathway is broken. The brain works constantly by neuroplasticity. PMO the same takes time maybe years but it will change make no mistake about it. The brain learns by doing constantly, repetition after repetition that' what does it.

I like the simplicity of this. You know, sometimes we make things so complicated. Sometimes you just have to find one simple thing and do it until it becomes an ironclad healthy habit. This is what I appreciate most about you @Bobo -- I notice how you call us back from over-thinking. Thanks man.

Incredibly illuminating. And I completely agree, if you repeated something every day for years and years, it's going to take a lot of repetition to create permanent changes. But, isn't that great news?! The cure is lots of sex with a real human partner!

Guys, I had sex the other day and my slips a few weeks ago have definitely had some kind of effect on my erection quality and ability to finish. I was able to 'get it in there' but it didn't feel the same, was much less pleasurable, and I wasn't able to finish.

These issues had not occurred in months.

My wife, knows all about my relapse and is very patient and understanding, so I'm one lucky dude!

It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get back to my old baseline, I'm guessing probably a few weeks, maybe a bit longer.

I've invested more into my business in the last two weeks than I have in the last two years. No bullshit.

Everything is coming together, huge sales blitz going on with my company...I'll report back with the results by end of June. This is what I've been working so hard for, for the last few years...and it's all paying off now.

No friggin' way I could have accomplished this if I was an active addict. Addicts cannot follow through in life.
The amount of growth I've made in the last 5 years is enormous, but I know there's a lot more to come -- keep pushing yourself to be a little better every day, boys. One small step.

Anyone here can stay clean, remember that it's a choice...even in the darkest pit days.

I've had a few anxiety moments the past week or so...I do think the relapse contributed, in addition to the new thyroid meds and too much coffee. The amazing part is that I just plowed right through them, they didn't slow me down from moving ahead in life.

Guess my point is that there have been some definite effects. On the other hand, they've been so very mild in comparison to the past, I'm very grateful. I'm also grateful that I'm not an active addict in this critical month for my business. Thanks be to God.

I was neglecting my physical health a bit when I relapsed, now I'm back to jogging. Anything that lessens stress helps keep us sober; that simple.

I have been sober for a week today, and so I am going to allow myself to post on a FEW threads. Yours is one because you have inspired me in the past and you continue to be one whom I hold in high esteem.

    Love ya, man.
