    Guys it day 90 today.

    No improvements as such.
Still having terrible time with insomnia. Taking sleeping aids
    Feeling very weak.
I can say memory has improved a little bit but occasionally struggle with short term memory.
Still have ed , penile and testicular shrinkage still there
Weakness is there my hands feel very weak while doing something physical they tend to slightly shake( like Parkin sons) but of not that intensity. Sometimes water leaks from my pennis after I take baath and pee. Water gets inside when I wash the pen is with water. Penis has become weak I guess its not been able to hold on . cramps and pains are still there with doing of little physical work. Joints and bones cracka nd snapp a lot even now. Some times eye sight becomes weak but not that often. Regrets haunt me a lot. My face still looks dull and have sunken eyes. I look very tired from the face. I feel my bones are also becoming weaker. Headaches when I do a little physical work and profuse sweating. Anxiety and short temperdness.

Guys I write this looking at my younger brother who is just 9 and is asleep . he is recovering his body in his sleep and shall be again active after the sleep. I just wonder when shall this happen with me. Last time I had a good sleep was in the month of August last yr. When after working on a presentation I felt a strange feeling to sleep and I fell asleep very easily. Although that time also during the time my body would push itself into a sleep there was this constant shakiness like an earthquake when my eyes used to be closed. I pray to Allah to heal me As soon as possible for I need to get all that what I have planned for in the future.

    Please pray for me.
    Ameen

If you have not already, GO SEE A DOCTOR. Restricting masturbation can be helpful, but you are describing several symptoms that might be unrelated to over-masturbation/porn and in any case, are harmful to your general day-to-day operation. Stopping masturbation is not a miracle cure that will solve everything; you need to have a healthy diet, regular exercise (though if it is painful, then stop of course! If your bones are cracking or snapping, be safe. If there is a problem when exercising all the more reason to consult a doctor. don't push yourself too hard.), regular sleep, and be doing things out there in life. No one here has all the answers about what will 'cure' your specific situation, but everyone will tell you that those basics I listed are critically important.

Also regarding sleeping aids, while they can help in the short term, I have heard that over time it can become harder to sleep without taking them. I would be careful with taking sleep aids.

But again. Consult with a Doctor. Schedule an appointment as soon as you can. Be upfront with your situation (mention over-masturbating, and anything and everything you think is relevant), talk to them, and use their advice to make your own decisions; don't blindly follow whatever the doctor says, ask questions, consult with your family and friends.

Be hopeful for the future. Your present condition will change, provided that you are changing your approach. I would start with ensuring that you're eating healthy, exercising, and making an effort to sleep well for 7-8 hours each day. Make those into high priorities. And go see a doctor!

Also, doctors can help, but in this area of PIED sometimes a doctor may think it's hard to believe (though I have meta doctor who acknowledged PIED). Take everyone's opinion and consider them, then make your decision. No need to rush into some treatment that seems weird to you, take your time, consult with others you trust, like friends and family, and this forum if need be.

Additionally, just rebooting (abstaining from masturbation or whatnot) is often not enough. As I said, you need to be making sure your body is healthy in all aspects, eat healthy, exercise, sleep well, etc. Be happy and fulfilled. As you might know, anxiety can cause erection problems as well. Aim for not only physical, but mental well-being. Don't feel discouraged, persevere and press forward. Your condition will improve, but you must stay positive and put in effort. Excessively worrying about it can be harmful!

If you must masturbate, do it without porn. But, keep your streak going of course, reach whatever goal you feel is appropriate. Though I have also heard not masturbating for too long can have negative effects - I might suggest doing some research and finding out how long you want your streak to go.

Again, you mentioned physical weakness and cracking/popping of your bones. Be safe, don't overdo it or push yourself. Exercise is generally a good thing, but I would honestly consult with a doctor before doing anything even remotely strenuous. You don't want to make the situation worse when trying to make it better by overdoing it somehow.

I just need to figure out what is the reason of my low energy. And yes I had this habit of watching porn for like 3-4 yrs. Prior history to masturbation for like 3yrs. So definwtwly this contributed to my current condition. I went to psychiatrist some 4 months back he said I had depression and never accepted the idea of PIED. I JUST WANT TO BE FRESH ENRGETIC AGAIN.

I have difficulties with fatigue too, but it has improved. This is a complex issue that can be the result of many conditions, addiction and depression are just some of them. There is a wealth of information available on the internet that is well worth exploring.

To re-iterate what Konduit is saying, what is your diet like? Are you exercising at all?

No I am not exercising. I have my exams on head. I sha be trying to allot some time for the exercising after June. But I have never done exercising in the last 3-4 yrs. Occasional sometimes. That's it.
I have seen so many people who don't exercise yet have a good sleep. I fee like my melatonin levels have fallen low. As a reason I am unable to fall asleep.
But what worries me more is I should heal myself back soon as I am already approaching towards my final yr of graduation and have to figure out either a job or a masters. God only can help me.

Start modestly with exercise and work your way up. You don't have to make a big commitment. Even just a 30 minute walk a day can make a difference to your mental health and energy levels.

Comparing yourself with other people isn't really helpful because they haven't been through the same circumstances you have. You have an addiction, and contrary to popular perception, 90 days is only a short period of time to recover. Even if these symptoms are addiction related- and there is no reliable way of telling that they are at the moment- there is a lot that you can do to improve your situation. As with the graduation situation, you will figure things out. It is a limiting belief that this addiction will stop you from achieving what you want to do. I know because I believed something similar when I graduated university a few years back and I was fine.

Also guys I read somewhere when you ejaculate excessively you tend to loose phosphor , carbon and other vital nutrients that replenished the fluid between the joints. So according to that I am lack of that fluid and hence my bones and joints are cracking and snapping. Can this fluid be restored. I think when knew sleep like a baby all this healing takes place. What do you believe @freedomfromservitude.?

Your joints cracking and snapping has nothing to do with with masturbation. It is probably due to a lack of fitness. But it is worth asking a Doctor if it is something that you are worried about.

For the record, synovial fluid is constantly replaced in the body.

How many times have you whacked off yourself. I mean could u pls give me an avg. I did for 6 years each day at least once and in the initial years when I just discovered masturbation , when I don't even knew it was called masturbation that time like I was 12 ,13 I did for like 2-3 times daily. And lately when I was not keeping well in the life then also I wacked for likeb4-5 times for a period of liken 6 months.

It varied a lot over the years. Most of the time, I masturbated 1-2 times daily from the age of 12. Sometimes this climbed to 3 or 4 quick sessions. From the age of 14 I used to have one big release through an edge that could last from 1-3 hours.

It doesn't help comparing ourselves. We are all unique in recovery.

Because so called 90 days don' yeild me results and more chances of me getting an answer in this section than my personal journal.

People only come here for inspiration! Do not misuse the forum for your own personal use!!!!

I agree that it is not the best place for a warning about about how our recovery journeys can last beyond 90 days. I wouldn't dismiss it though. Mickeymouse has achieved 90 days of sobriety even if he doesn't seem to be celebrating that himself. Is that not inspirational in itself?

It is and I apologise, 90 days is incredible and I would say it just needs more time.

BUT!! Please consider this though - when someone is at rock bottom, they come here for inspiration ONLY!! We are all going through this and the last thing someone looking for inspiration wants to see is someone else’s problems of not recovering! It compounds misery - so I repeat - use the forums properly please! There is a reason why things are put into sections!!!

Yes gentlemen. It's all right. But one has to be at my place to judge what I am going through. But then this notion of nofap for 90 should not be promoted. It was only because I dint got the results that I Wrote it. And I am sure there shall be many who haven't. This 90 day thing is not a hard and fast thing. One thing that I learned is you need to stay sober everafter.
