    Good day,

    Long story, hope you can help me figure out what is happening to me. I'm trying to be as detailed as possible.

    about 2 years ago I went to a trampoline park where I felt a stretching in my right side of the neck going down the right side of my back. That night it started, I could not feel a thing down there, and obviously no sex that night, it was super stressful, I recovered after 5 days and everything went back to normal or so I thought. Now this was June 2018, couple of days later like 9, again, this time 3 days, this was probably in August 2018, now from this last time all the way to February, I had sex 1 time on Saturdays and Fridays, sometimes in Sundays, during those months in the afternoon every 2 days my lovely and comprehensive wife wanted me to have sex just to show my that I was fine. Everything was food until February.

    Just some more clarification, before that June 2018 incident I had always had erection practically all day long, after that on February 2019 I noticed it was less spontaneous and more into porn. So I had sex 1 time Saturdays and Fridays a d all the other days i masturbated 2 to 3 times a day, sometimes even after sex on the weekends.

    On mid February 2019, another episode that lasted 2 days. I went to my general doctor and told him about the issue of not getting hard. I explained everything that I wrote. He said that it was probably due to the weight (260lb) and that he was going to give me the blue pill to help me in the meantime. Did some labwork
    Total Cholesterol=178
    HDL= 34 LOW
    TRYG= 193 high
    LDL= 113 high
    glucose= 109 high when fasting

    only those values where out of range

    got 100mg blue pill, told me to cut it and use 50mg first to check how i felt.

    Sex on Friday with 50mg pill, great. No pill on Saturday, kept masturbating to porn. 1 or 2 weeks no sex, can't remember why, but in late march suddenly i started having sex with wife everyday, multiple times a day until early hours in the morning, came about 3 times each day, but had sex more time without coming, on weekends an average of 5 to 6 times, weekdays and Sundays only 1 time, I kept masturbating after sex in regular days up to 2 times.

    Insurance only gave me 6 pills a month, so there was an episode in march in which it took more time than usual to get erect but was able to make it, summer 2019 was everything great. On vacations we had sex 3 to 5 times daily, with the exception of about 5 days, although we I could not sleep more than 6 hours for 1 month, excluding some days; there was 2 episodes of 1 day during vacations.

    Came back to school routine with kids, we stopped having sex on weekdays, I kept masturbating 1 to 2 times during weekdays with a 6 to 7 hours average sleep. Weekends were long sessions until early morning not getting more than 4 hours sleep, no M. I was using the pill every time we had sex on vacations, from 25mg to 50mg per day. The same from September to December on weekends. Thanksgiving holidays, 1 day during that week. December sex every day until the 20, another episode, even with blue pill, now let me tell you, this is when I freak out, and decided enough is enough, I had a testosterone test which gave me the number 288, low test, I call my doctor and he switches me to Cialis, and it still does not work, I researched several websites regarding this (i do not know the rules so i will not name them here), I decided to loose weight, from the Dec. 22 to the Jan 24 I lost about 50 something pounds, bow I'm at 213. Yes I know it was drastic but I was in survival mode, I did not ate anything for 3 days, then I realized my mistakes, I started eating only healthy stuff, no more fast food, and only one big meal inthe afternoon, beet, celery, watermelon juice, supplements, like horny goat weed, tongkat ali, pine pollen, zinc, magnesium, dhea, different vitamins, garlic, etc,

    During those days that I lost weight, 2 episodes in different days, also, had sex sometimes without blue pill.

    January, sex all days 2 to 3 times daily, 4 to 6 hours of sleep, 1 episode. Last week of February we started 3 to 6 times all the way to the end of February, that is when everything started to get worst, have not been working fine since Feb 26, had hard time getting erect, but was able, same on 27, no sex 28 or 29, was not able to get it erect, feb 1, 4 times and then here we are, nothing yet,

    I'm exhausting all possibilities, we read and it might be related to poor sleep. I really hope it is, because the remaining options are not very friendly. I lost extra weight, I'm still trying to excercise, eat well, take supplements. What is wrong with me?

    I'm 38 by the way, I retested testosterone 3 more times since December and the numbers are as follows.

    dec 288
    beginning jan 457
    end of Jan 371
    feb 12 571

    I retested for lipids and everything was fine, the only thing high ldl cholesterol in 104
    thyroid
    tsh 1.06

    I'm going to the urologist in 4 days, hopefully he can get all the other tests, estrogen, dht, prolactin, estradiol, etc

    any feedback is greatly appreciated...

    Although I am not as old as you but I face similar issues with my sleep and fatigue. Which in my most days do not see to improve. I also feel I have erectile dysfunction. My pennis is weak as after I pee and wash my pennis some water leaks our involuntarily after some say 5-10 mins. I am broke at just 22 years. My eyes have sunken. I have no muscle whatsoever.going bald almost on the top. My bones make cracking and ' kit kit ' sounds every now and then. I have bowel pressure everytime I eat anything. It gets worse if I go outside of my house. If I tell this to my GP he is not able to figure out and rules out any wrong due to PMO

    Can you still get an erection to porn? When was the last time you masturbated to porn Merc?

    The first thing my urologist asked me when I visited him to check my erectile ability was if I ever had any back or neck injuries. So there is that. But the way you describe it, you recovered from the neck injury and you also had successful sex several times after recovering from it. You seem like a overall healthy person, so most likely, your erections are neither affected by your testosterone, your age or something in that regard.

    Have you been actively using porn and masturbating to it? If so, I suppose porn is the problem. You shouldn't be using anyway if you have any shares in having and keeping healthy erections ;). And if you are not addicted, stay away from porn and masturbation before you jump to any conclusions. The exclusion principle often times works. Just for your information, when I had severe PIED viagra didn't work at all. My dick was dead and no high-dosed dick pill in the world could improve my erection quality.

    Wow, thanks for the replies, I'll address them in order this post

    MickeyMouse,
    For what I have read, low testosterone causes baldness, as well too much DHT, unless its hereditary, I believe something related to mother's side grandparent. It also causes several of the symptoms you describe.

    O forgot to mention but I also noticed some baldness on the crown and also noticed a lot of hair falling while in the shower, that stopped after taking supplements and eating healthy. Now let me tell you, I stopped cold turkey, I know its hard but, the motivation of wanting to be better for my family, wife and myself made it easy in the mind, which is the hard part of doing it, yes, your body will resent that, but it does not matter, you want it to change, and change takes a toll and effort. I think you need to tackle the fatigue, and there are a lot of options, testosterone, lack of sleep, try zma or melatonin for sleep. I just noticed that I was not getting good REM sleep, hopefully that will help.

    Guts,
    I stopped the moment I read about 2 months ago a website about your brain on porn, that was scary, I stopped cold turkey beginning January. I have not masturbated since that day, I just tested several times to check if I could get it up, and yes but it took longer than usual, that's when I started looking for more solutions, what we came up was, not enough rest and lack of sleep. According to several websites and books We've read regarding ed, you can be the most healthy eating person, no masturbating, exercising, but if you don't sleep well in REM sleep, that will not work, reproductive organs are on the back of the list of important functions the body prioritizes, plus you can be sleeping, but if REM sleep is not happening, your brain, hormones and stuff do not regenerate.

    Pete McVries,
    That is what my general doctor and one urologist in another country said, they checked my neck and and back for some movements and according to them I'm fine. They tought that I may have acquired performance anxiety. Just for the record I had microsurgery at 14 for 2 vertebrae, l4 and l5 i think, but never had any issues until about 2 years ago. Now, according to the urologist just by looking at me he said I did not had any testosterone problem, since I'm super hairy in my whole body, which i tested the first time and was low.

    The answer to porn is no, unless you count 3 times just to check I could get it up, 1 to 2 minutues to get it up and stopped, then after that nothing, i just checked in the bathroom by fantasizing. I'm cured of that, and the irony is that I thought everything was peachy, Never again porn for me.

    Now, Inreally think my dopamine receptirs are a worn out due to the porn and a lot of sex in the past 2 months, I have read that some time without it and restful sleepnhelps, I'm really counting on it.

    Some people report getting into flatlines after orgasms. Personally, I never had that problem. But I also didn't/don't overdo sex after recovering from PIED. For me it mostly goes 2-3x sex during the weekend and resting during weekdays. Perfomance anxiety can be real, you are (rightfully) worried about your erections. It's great that your wife supports you.

    Maybe, just take some time off from having penetrative sex. In case of perfomance anxiety ED or people recovering from PIED, sex therapists often times recommend on having sex without penetration. Therefore, you won't have any pressure to perform. It's a proven way of getting rid of the pressure until penetration is just the logical next step and not that big of a deal anymore.

    I have not found a lot of documentation regarding lack of sleep/rest, but in several forums and some books I found out it says it is extremly important otherwise it won't work, according to some post of other people, I think we were overdoing it, and in those posts it says they need to rest for several days, or those days of having sex several times, make them only on weekends, and rest an having sex only one time during week days in order to sleep properly.

    Thanks for the advice, and yes that helps a lot, just making out, fondling, it really helps.

    Also in in the last month, if I do it without a condom it is easier to keep it erect. That is other of the reason I think is lack of rest.

    Thanks

    Yeah I would stick to never going back to porn. I'd also try going a few weeks without orgasms and sexual stimulation and see what that does to you, if you see improvements it definitely is PIED.

    Do you have other problems that indicate ongoing bad sleep? If not, I would rule it out. Sleep is super important but if you feel well rested in general and don't show any other malfunctions possibly caused by bad sleep, why would it cause erectile dysfunction? I'm just thinking out loud.
