Internet & porn use have come to form a nasty duo in my life recently. Today I went online after breakfast and stayed online until 2, when I finally realized that I'm fed up with not doing anything all day! So here's my plan. I'm currently working on forming a daily morning habit: 1. Wake up, 2. Eat breakfast & read a book (instead of going online), and 3. Meditate. Establishing this habit should go a long way towards combating internet & porn addiction because mornings are usually the worst time for me. Also, when school starts up next week, this schedule should take up most of my morning before I walk to campus, which is a big plus. Another habit that I'll start today will be making some quick notes in my journal after dinner -- notes about how I did with internet & porn addiction for the day. Once a week, I'll bring these notes together and post them in this thread, then reflect on any changes I need to be making. Here's hoping this works! I've got 2 things I've got to use the internet for now, so I'll get those done ASAP and then shut down the computer.
