Awesome, bro'! You've really held this place together over the last few months. Your counsel and support is wonderful!
On a totally unrelated note. I am very embarrassed and frustrated with a job I am overseeing. I drew up a correct water flow chart for a plumbing project. I then got visiting with my teammate while putting together the plumbing and didn't pay close attention to the plans. I didn't install a valve the correct location. After gluing everything together I noticed my oversight and we have to tear it all out and start again. Arrrrgghhh! This project is on a bit of a schedule and I knocked us off schedule. Just had to vent
I know this is easier said than done Boxer, but take a deep breath, forgive yourself and move on. We've all been there, man. And thanks for staying in touch on my journal. I really appreciate it!
A few weeks ago I had a project to complete ☆☆☆☆ I fucked it all up--- one if my workers said "uh what was that boss ?" I said PRACTICE! Dude no worries!
I hope our lives going forward have many failures. It means we're trying. Like Bobo said, when we try to do something to the best of our ability it's not failure if it goes wrong...it's a lesson.
@Mozenjo @Bobo @NCBob @Saville Thanks guys. You were right about forgiving myself. My coworker said if I don't stop beating myself up he was going to beat me up. He was very calming. While he ran to get more supplies I calmed down and we finished without any more problems. Warm thoughts to all May all this week's projects go well! Boxer
ha ha Love this! I remember complaining about my health to this older lady (she was in her late 70's) who was a naturopath. She said "sounds like you're going to die!" I laughed my ass off. It was just what I needed to step outside my head.
Good SO is like Sunday lunch with all the trimmings- it tastes a heck of a lot better than junk food and sets your body up for the week. But like SO, it takes care and effort.
Just remember that an SO is superior to an MO and steers you away from PMO. PIV is the way and on YBR we can never have TMI.
