kees Who took the cool out of the coolidge effect?

I was going to write here a bit, but then I had a very irritating phonecall and now I'm to angry to write something nice.
    But everything's good.

I went to a restaurant this weekend and I got a bit high on mineralwater. (Yes, it's been over a year now.)

Hi Kees, hope you're well. :)

    Today I read this:
It took me a couple of hours to read it and to read every link in it, but it was well worth it.
In fact, lately, I was already more or less practising what I read here.
I'm already living a full life. Trying to fill my life with good things, rather than just leaving out the porn and not changing anything else.
I could have more of a plan in life though.

Nowadays I'm often too busy with things to be bothered with porn or related things like the forum. But I do like to visit the forum now and then and I'm certainly far from ready to close my account, like a lot of people do after a year or so. (I'm over a year here now. I didn't even remember the date when it passed. That's a good sign I think.)

I removed my counter today. It was deactivated due to inactivity. And then I thought: what's the point? I did have a problem for about 5 minutes or so recently. That means I would have to set back my counter and "start all over again" . That feels ridiculous now. It discards the fact that I'm doing good since over a year and am improving every day.
My goal is still no PMO - ever. But if I do have a little glitch again, then so be it. I'm not beating my self up about it anymore. It's back on the horse a.s.a.p. and learning from my mistakes every time.
I do have a sense of what I'm doing is the only right thing to do lately. I mean that I've never before seen so clearly that life is better without porn.
Last year around this time I was still struggling badly with abstinence of two things. Now I do have some sort of a life already. I'm glad with that. I can't remember when I was happier (well, less depressed :) ) than nowadays.

I feel that making music helps me diverting my attention.

Also I listen to "you know who" (yes, I'm a big fan) a lot.
It's actually some sort of meditation for me to listen to it over and over again.

In just four days, the satanic ritual called x-mas is over.
Then we have to struggle through the fireworks at "worlds end" and then it's back to the good times again.

Put a carrot in your shoe, it will be over before you know it. Ear plugs help too.

I saw this show yesterday with an artist in it and some nude models that he was gonna paint. No models with benefits I think; he already had aids due to a superpromiscues lifestyle.
Just a normal show at prime time. Normally no nudity.
I felt the urge to search this show again today on the cable. Well mainly the fleshy bits ofcourse.
I had almost convinced myself that that would not be the same as porn.
Almost... but not completely. Another small victory for me.

A big victory friend, it is just artificial images on a screen, not satisfying and loving.

Funny, I just made the connection between Flesh and Bones and flesh and bones. Electronic images are not flesh and bone.

I'm doing rather fine, thank you.
The counter annoyed me, but don't worry about that.

    'sup Guys?

I've taken some time off from the forum as you may have noticed.
It actually took me 10 minutes to figure out how to post something.
It was berried deep in my mind under a shitload of porn.
Yes, I have seen many-a-things that are not good for one.

Three months ago I went vegan.
It had nothing to do with the porn issue.
I just watched cowspiracy and a bunch of other movies on netflix and it completely changed my attitude toward meat 'n stuff.
I struggled with the dairy and eggs thing, but the cravings for that are also gone now.
I know you think I'm a lame hippie trying to convert you, but hear me out.

A week after I started eating lots of greens and fruits and skipping animal proteins, I felt so good, I started reducing my ssri's I had been on for years.
I went from 10 mg to zero in about 10 days.
My mood has only improved since then.
My orgasm dysfunction is over. I function normally again.
I have lots of energy and are more productive.
ALSO: Porn is not an issue anymore.
I don't have to forbid myself to watch porn anymore. I just don't wanna watch it.
Eating vegan has changed me profoundly. I have become more compassionate with ALL human beings. Not just animals. Also women!
So I just don't get pleasure anymore from watching deranged or abused people giving it all away for free on the internet.

I wanted to share this with you guys.
Sure, I have a not so hidden agenda. I care more for animals now and I'm doing my bit to spread the word that eating flesh from tortured and brutally slaughtered animals is not cool.
But the bottom line is: Our body and mind are not separated. They're one.
If you see that and you understand that it's not healthy to eat excessive amounts of hormone-laden food like I did and like you probably do. Then you can start healing yourself in an easy and tasty way.
It really is more simple than you think, perhaps.

Stop fighting the symptoms. Stop holding yourself back all the time. Your willpower is limited.
Change who you are. You can become a better person today. And then see what that does for you!
    Again: I know, I'm a fucking hippie.
    I don't care.

Vegan? Are you kidding bro'. You gotta eat meat to grow meat! ;)

I think what's happened for you is great. You found a solution for yourself and what could be better! I personally eat quite a lot of meat, but I buy from local butchers who treat their animals well and don't use antibiotics and growth hormones. It is shocking how we treat the fellow creatures of this earth.
