I have not watched porn since early August of last year. I do not see girls IRL and picture them covered in shit or jizz or whatever the hell else. I get lasting spontaneous boners several times a week. I never had much in the way of ED to start with though. I did not beat off more than 3x a week.

On another note, I do not feel like a hyper-focused superman with a drive to improve my life.

This whole experience may have even fucked with my head. I have actually been sexually deviant before I even knew what porn was and had embraced my deviance. Now any time I try to let my freak flag fly, I get this huge feeling of guilt.

My verdict is that the no fap/no porn deal is great for ED, but this "God Mode" feeling people are getting is a placebo effect.

My addiction has devastated my life, everyones addiction is different in both severity and the way/how badly it effects that individuals life.i personally think (and i mean no offence to anyone by this) that a lot of people may misdiagnose that there addicted,or the severity of there addiction.

They read about hardcore addicts going from complete isolation and PIED,to rebuilding there lives and feeling awesome from rebooting and expect the same, when all they do (as you said) is 'beat off 3 times a week' to porn.i'd do it at least 3 times a day usually more, edging for hours and hours.

    no offence dude.

this is an important subject in the PMO community, people can't expect wonders if they already have a relatively 'normal' life, and i don't know what your situation is/was before rebooting.that's just my opinion anyway.3 times a week is a far cry from a hardcore porn addict.

    that's a great accomplishment mate.

was wondering if you could answer some questions.

why did you decide to quit PMO,was it just to 'cure' PIED/ED or did you also suffer from other things like depression, social anxiety/general anxiety, isolate - not being social and staying at home a lot etc.

now i know everyone is different when it comes to rebooting and recovering, how long did it take you personally to start 'feeling better' in general, and seeing some positive effects.if you only ever had PIED/ED then this question is pretty much irrelevant.

how long we're your flatlines, did they come and go for long periods of time or was it just one long flatline and then a return of 'normal' real world libido.

im really interested in these subjects, even though i won't be comparing myself to others,it's still good to have an idea of what the 'pro's' wen't through.

im on day 12 now and man...i feel pretty bad, when i'm not exhausted i feel anxious as hell and very uncomfortable for no apparent reason.socialising or getting out more would pretty much be impossible at this stage,I'm lucky i can veg out at home and get through the first phase of recovery.

I believe so, yes. I also believe you're probably more likely to get a rock solid erection quicker and last longer when you're really about to have sex with a girl, then if you're just fantasizing, in my opinion, that is.
