I am making this challenge for guys who want to prepare their Minds, Souls, and Bodys for Summer. Hence the "Summer Preparation Challenge" is born.

Want your summer to be better than the last one? This challenge is for you! Maybe you didn't go outdoors much last summer due to confidence/anxiety issues caused by your porn addiction. Well if you prepare your mind, soul and body you will not have those issues to contend with. It is time to man up. Think of this as a personal training camp!

This is a 2 week challenge that starts April 20th and ends one day after the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight May 3rd.

    Rules:
    1. NO Porn
    2. NO Masturbation/MO
    3. NO Edging

If going to the college library to work instead of working directly on my computer count as work out, I'm in. At least if i can sign in considering my relapse was this morning, at 4 AM. If it's okay you can count me in :)

There are the monthly challenges already ;)

Besides, I'm not joining because of 4 (working out every day isn't healthy IMO, with exceptions but that concerns a minority so it shouldn't be mandatory) and 6 (this one is very subjective). And only meditation, whether it be mindfulness or prayer, will get your soul ready for whatever challenges will arise. But yeah I'll follow all those rules, except for working out every day! I'm aiming for 5-6days a week.

But those ones don't have a cool banner like this one. :p

All jokes aside i'm aware of that but maybe someone failed the monthly challenge and want to try a 2 weeks challenge instead. I think this is a more realistic goal for some people to achieve.

I removed the rules that are not specific to this addiction but I do believe men who would work out and eat healthy have a higher chance of succeeding though.

    Count me in then! ;)

Eating healthy isn't so specific - some will debate whether it's better to eat animals or not, how many carbs, etc - but we all agree that eating at least 80% whole, real foods is what matters most.

Working out is very important too, but every day? Walking, gentle exercises such as tai chi or some forms of Yoga would be great every day; but cardio or strength training every day? That sounds too much for the body, it becomes unhealthy.

And yeah, half-months challenges is a great idea. Perhaps weekly challenges too, with more rules (like including 10-20mn meditations of any kind; picking up a new activity like drawing; etc, just to sparkle creativity and have some accountability)

I'd like to participate, but I PMOed on 20th of April.

Can I join anyway (and do a day longer) ?

    Re: Summer Preparation Challenge!

There was a specific reason I made this challenge and it was to get clean and prepare for the summer.

I think random weekly challenges would be pointless IMO.
